Description of the exhibition:
Indulge in the beauty of exploring shape and form. Let your eyes wander around the surface of these works, taking in all of their shapely details. Think thick and thin lines, negative and positive space, lustrous curves, and sharp edges. Using a variety of media, our artists showcase their abstract pieces that use the language of shape, and their representational works that convey their reverence for form.

SCENES FROM WESTERN CANADA - 2021

Description of the exhibition:
Scenes from Western Canada is a visual celebration of Canada's west coast, and showcases all styles and subject matter that is quintessentially Canadian. Think dense forests, mountain ranges, driftwood and lakeside views, wildlife, city streets and the people who inhabit these beautiful landscapes.

As you peruse these works, try to imagine yourself into these scenes. Can you feel the shade from the trees, smell the ocean breeze? Maybe you've visited these stunning vistas before. There's no shortage of beautiful sights to see in this exhibition.

Description of the exhibition:
Paying homage to art history, member artwork will mirror the official art exhibition of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In stunning cohesion, the final result will be a glorious, high volume display of Canadian artwork on Granville Island during the energetic month of August.
